An active and engaged group of volunteers promotes community life through a weekly e-newsletter, a monthly newsletter, and dozens of social activities, clubs, and events. A long-time Plum Creek resident also occupies a paid part-time position as the neighborhood’s Community Life Director. Every year the HOA hosts an Easter Egg Hunt, Front Porch Days, Backyard Olympics, Family Fishing Day, a Fourth of July parade and picnic, Halloween Carnival, and many Holiday Events.

Each Spring, Plum Creek hosts Front Porch Days - a multi-weekend event that brings folks from Central Texas to Plum Creek for family activities. Growing larger each year since its debut in 2001, Front Porch Days hosts a Golf Tournament, a Music Festival, Garden Tours, a Community Wide Garage Sale, and activities for children of all ages from jumpy kingdoms and face painting to laser tag and mobile arcades. Front Porch Days is also host to the area Boy Scout's Soap Box Derby.
